- Task: Create an in-game jackpot feature mini game, randomly triggered when the player wins.
- Duration: The game should not exceed 60 seconds and can be time-triggered if the player doesn’t press "start".
Proposed Themes
1. Disco Lights
- Reflecting the energetic atmosphere of disco clubs, featuring vibrant lighting effects, bold colors, and dynamic patterns reminiscent of the 70s and 80s nightlife.
Disco Theme Details.
- Prize Representation: Disco balls of different colors.
- Silver, Gold, Blue, Rainbow (from lowest to highest tier).
- Design Elements:
- Futuristic curvy machine.
- Flashy disco stage and spotlights.
- Speakers and a flashy blue button.

2. Casino Retro
Retro Theme Moodboard.
- Inspired by classic casino aesthetics, incorporating elements like vintage signage, neon lights, and the glamorous vibe of old-school casinos.
Retro Theme Details.
- Design Challenge: Incorporating retro casino design into an arcade game.
- Inspiration: Monopoly (classic, board game, special edition slot machine).
- Visual Elements:
- White screen, red indicator backlight, digital numbers/fonts.
- Retro one-hand pull machine style.
- Prize Design: Luxury cases embedded with jewelry.
- Colors: White, red, green, black, gold.
- Difficulty in achieving the right luxury design and color representation.

Project Duration and Outcome
- Timeline: November 2022 - February 2023 (4 months).
- Achievements:
- Learned basics of Spine2D and special effects in After Effects.
- Focused on asset optimization, targeting a total of 5MB.
- Made sacrifices like lowering image resolution, avoiding "meshes" in Spine2D, and mirroring symmetrical parts for efficiency.
Lessons Learned:
- Have BGM and SFX ready to animate along with it.
- Importance of music, timing, and rhythms in animation.
